DECFACustomer story

How DECFA connected its ERP and every customer portal in one view of the plant

3customer portals connected: Continental and two Kongsberg plants
3×a day, every Navision table is copied
31machines on the 3D view of the plant
“Every customer had its own portal, and we typed each plan into Navision by hand. Now the plans come in on their own, and I see the whole plant and all 31 machines in one place.”

About DECFA

DECFA (Decolletatge Farrés S.A.) is a manufacturer whose customers include Continental and Kongsberg. Its ERP is Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2015, better known as Navision.

The problem

Each customer sends its delivery plans through its own portal: Continental through SupplyOn, and two Kongsberg plants (EPES1 and RAMX1) through VendorWeb. The team had to log in to each portal and type the plans into Navision by hand.

What we built

XC Gradient fetches the plans from SupplyOn and from both Kongsberg plants, and pushes them into Navision every week. Every Navision table is copied three times a day, at 06:15, 14:15 and 22:15. On top sits a 3D view of the plant with its 31 machines.

Results

The plant manager sees the whole history in one place: plans, orders and machines. Nobody logs in to customer portals to copy plans anymore.
